This past Sunday the YMCA hosted the annual Hispanic Heritage Family Festival at the Kerasotes branch. At this Festival, donations were collected for those affected by the most recent natural disasters in Puerto Rico and Mexico. THANK YOU to those individuals who donated to these incredibly important causes. Collected donations for Mexico exceeded $645 and Puerto Rico will receive over $1,500 in donations. A BIG THANK YOU to our community friend, CIELO for their donation of over $800 to support both causes. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors Jim Watts, Electric, CIELO, Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce, and Marc Bell, 99th District State Representative. We owe the incredible success of this event to them. Thank you!
