SNAP (Special Needs Aquatic Program)

SNAP

SNAP is a specialized swim lesson program for individuals with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other special needs. Depending on the swimmer’s needs and comfort level, we encourage them to progress in swimming either by working toward regular group lessons or Special Olympics participation.

SNAP Competitive

This class is for our SNAP swim team. This class has a team atmosphere with training for Special Olympics. Those on the team must register through the swimming department to participate.

Parent / Child Class for those with Down Syndrome

This class is a 4-week, 35-minute class for children ages 2-5 years old with Down Syndrome and is taught by members of the Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society.
