Youth Sports at the Y

At the Y, youth sports such as flag football, soccer, volleyball, baseball and basketball leverage the excitement and passion around recreational and competitive programs. This creates a healthy outlet for children to gain new skills, develop a sense of team and connect with positive role models.

SNAP (Special Needs Aquatic Program)

This program provides those with diverse abilities a customized way to learn swimming safely, at their own pace and skill with selected instructors with expertise in helping special needs students succeed.

Saturday Strikers Bowling League

This league is about more than just bowling. It’s a community giving those with special needs a path out of isolation, a chance to grow and develop new skills, and a safe place to learn to navigate the everyday world.

Gymnastics

Whenever possible, those with special needs are included in our classes and, as they progress, are invited to join our competitive team. Some of our athletes go on to compete in the Special Olympics.
